The Secretary-General valued the efforts of the League, led by His Excellency the Secretary-General, Chairman of the Association of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, which led to reaching the historic declaration and agreement to find a final and comprehensive solution to the Afghan conflict, by reaching common ground between the conflicting parties, which paves the way to stop the bloodshed and lead the Afghan people to the process of peace, reconciliation, stability, progress and prosperity.

Al-Othaimeen also praised the spirit of brotherhood that prevailed in the conference between Islamic scholars in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, who have the decisive legitimate influence on all parties, and so the power of reason triumphs over violence, extremism and extremism.

Establishing peace

For his part, Sheikh Dr. Noor-ul-Haq Qadri, Minister of Islamic Affairs and Tolerance of Religions in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, affirmed that “the Kingdom has always effectively played its role in bringing peace to Afghanistan, and Pakistan has always sought peace and reconciliation, adding, “The two countries have supported every step taken to bring security and peace.” In the entire region, especially in Afghanistan and globally, I hope that the two brotherly countries will continue to play a dynamic and effective role for peace.”
