His Excellency the secretary general of the Muslim World League, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, said that he was pleased to meet the invitation of His Excellency the president of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Zayed, to lecture in its Great Hall.

He also added that he was pleased with the extensive participation in the course of the next conference of the lecture on the international initiative of the Muslim World League: “building bridges of understanding and peace between East and West” yesterday Friday morning in the presence of about 1,600, including ministers, university administrators, college deans, academics and students.

The lecture was preceded by welcoming speeches by a number of invited dignitaries, followed by dialogue sessions for a number of academics on “building bridges of understanding and peace between East and West”, invited by the Association of Islamic universities in cooperation with Alexandria University and El Alamein International University.
