Al-Issa honors the winners of the competition of young memorizers of the Holy Quran in Pakistan

  1. E. Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Chairman of the Muslim Scholars Association and secretary general of the Muslim World League, honored the winners of the annual competition for young memorizers of the Holy Quran in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan by presenting in-kind and financial prizes.

This came at a large ceremony held in the capital Islamabad, in the presence of Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif and the secretary, Pakistani minister of Religious Affairs Noor-ul-Haq Qadri, assistant secretary of the Muslim World League Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Abdullah Al-Zaid, ambassador of the custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki, and regional director of the association’s office in Pakistan Saad bin Masoud Al-Harthi.

Al-Issa presented awards to the memorizers of the Holy Quran, he also presented prizes to the villagers who read the Quran in their unique and beautiful dialects, congratulated the children who give the message that through hard work the teachings of the Quran can be spread to the hearts of people.

He praised the youth for lighting their hearts with the knowledge of the Holy Quran and said that the younger generation should also understand the true message of the Quran.

The Pakistani prime minister also congratulated the winners of the competition, expressing his appreciation for the great efforts provided by the Muslim World League in various fields, including support for memorizing the Holy Quran competitions.

He also praised the efforts made by the kingdom of Saudi Arabia to serve Islam and Muslims, take care of the Two Holy Mosques and take care of pilgrims and Umrah pilgrims, stressing that his country pays great attention to its relations with the Kingdom, and considers them long-standing relations based on common religious and cultural commonalities, and characterized by love and brotherhood between the peoples of the two countries.
