The Muslim World League welcomed the results of the extraordinary meeting of the open-ended executive committee at the level of foreign ministers of the OIC member states, which was convened by the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the chairman of the Islamic summit, the chairman of the OIC Executive Committee and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to discuss the impact of the terrible humanitarian catastrophe in the Occupied Palestinian territories in full view of the world.
In a statement issued by the general secretariat of the association, His Majesty the secretary general and president of the Association of Muslim scholars, His Majesty Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, expressed her support for the association and its mosques, institutions and councils. A final statement condemning the ongoing Israeli aggression in inflicting more tragedies and disasters among innocent civilians in the wake of the brutality of collective punishment.
The secretary-general expressed his full solidarity with the government of the state of Palestine to prevent these heinous crimes, while attaching utmost importance to ensuring the provision of the necessary humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian people, warning of the serious consequences of the tragedy that has shaken every living conscience, and until the international community accelerates effective action towards it, he points to consequences that are difficult to remedy.
