At the invitation of the presidency of the most influential European forum, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League and Chairman of the Association of Muslim Scholars, was the guest of the main lecture of the Rimini Forum in Italy, which was attended by nearly one million visitors, representing the moderate Islamic voice in the Arab and Islamic world.
Al-Issa’s presence was highly welcomed in the largest European youth gathering to promote friendship between peoples, in the presence of world religious and intellectual leaders.
The lecture of the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League and the chairman of the Association of Muslim Scholars included the values of the “religious sense” in humans, discussing the thesis of the Italian religious pioneer and philosopher Luigi Giussani.
Dr. Al-Issa said that “knowledge without values has given rise to extremist theories, and the true meaning of freedom depends on the laws of countries and their societal values”.
